A 3 Minute Meditation To Develop A Meditative Mind
Check out this short, sweet and simple meditation to develop a meditative mind.
A meditative mind gives you the intuitive ability to realize the consequences of a sequence of actions and therefore gives you a guideline for dealing with cause and effect and minimizing karma.
The beauty of this meditation is that you can use any mantra you like.
If you want to feel more supported, you might use a mantra like: ‘I am full supported in this moment.‘ If you feel there isn’t enough time to do everything in a day, you might create a mantra like: ‘There’s enough time.’ Or you can use a Kundalini mantra like ‘Sat Nam’, which means’truth is my identity”.
A 3 minute meditation to develop a meditative mind.
Eye Focus: 1/10th Open.
First Hold (1 min)
Sit in Rock Pose, sitting on the heels, with a straight spine.
Press the palms together, with the fingers and thumbs pressed together, and stretch the arms straight up over the head with the elbows locked and the upper arms pressed against the ears.
Deeply inhale, hold the breath and mentally vibrate any mantra you wish.
To end: quickly exhale.
Second Hold (1 min)
Repeat the inhalation and hold the breath.
To end: quickly exhale.
Third Hold (1 min)
Repeat the inhalation and hold the breath.
To end: quickly exhale, and then relax.
So you repeat the same one-minute cycle 3 times after which you can relax. That’s it!
This is a great meditation to start your day with.
Love, Susanne
